Event Overview
NEXUS 2024 was a technology seminar organized by Coder FT-UH (Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Hasanuddin), bringing students, educators, and industry professionals together around current tech trends. As part of the Publication, Design, and Documentation team, I created the event's complete visual identity and documented the experience.
Design Philosophy
The identity was built around "Connecting Tech Minds" — the convergence of innovation, education, and professional networking. The system pairs clean, modern aesthetics with tech-inspired elements: a contemporary logo, a friendly mascot that became the face of the event, a modern color palette, and clear typography that works across print and digital.
Deliverables
- Brand identity — the NEXUS 2024 logo and variations, the event mascot, and brand guidelines.
- Merchandise — event-branded t-shirts and tote bags as participant keepsakes.
- Event materials — participant and speaker certificates, commemorative plaques, and presentation templates.
- Documentation — real-time live reports capturing key moments during the seminar.
Documentation & Coverage
Across the two-month timeline I documented the full arc: the design-development and preparation phase, live visual reports on event day, and a post-event summary of the seminar's outcomes.
Impact
The cohesive design system made NEXUS a recognizable event, the mascot and visuals lifted participant engagement, and high-quality materials gave the seminar a professional presence.
